    (major changes are longer channel names and better multi-view support).
  • added true EXR dual sequence support: 
    Both dual sequences can be configured independently via AnimPalyers advanced OpenEXR dialog.

This a another major update.

  • Added support for 4 GB of RAM on Windows 64 bit. This doubles the number of frames you can load into the RAM cache. 
  • Rewritten AnimPlayers memory monitoring. Incereased the minimum of free memory to 150 MB.
  • Added check for maximum graphics resources of windows. The cache of AnimPlayer is now restricted to a maximum of 9000 frames.
  • Added full alpha support for all dual view modes.
  • Added adjustable split positioning for horizontal and vertical split dual modes. Right click + drag to adjust the splitter on the fly.
  • Added split line at the split position which can be turned off with Edit/Preferences/Mode.
  • Updated internal image libraries for loading HDR and PNG files.
  • Fixed many other minor issues.

  • Enabled support for images larger than 2048x2048 pixels. Maximum supported image size now depends on your graphic card and driver. After startup choose: [View / Message log] get the maximum supported image size.
  • Added dual sequence support including realtime anaglyph stereo playback.
    Two sequences can be playbacked at the same time with various dual compositing modes.
    Options and settings can be found in the Dual menu and and under Preferences / Modes.
  • Added progress indicator in Windows 7 taskbar icon.
  • Fixed Recent Project File list.
  • Fixed a nasty command line bug. Startframe-Endframe was sometimes ignored.

  • Added centered image crop to 2048 x 2048 pixels during loading if images are larger than these 2k dimensions.
  • Added (inofficial) OpenEXR file extensions: SXR and MXR. These EXR files contain multi view images i.e. stereoscopic images. You can use AnimPlayers advanced OpenEXR load dialog to map these images to RGB playback channels.
  • Fixed issues with Aero Glass in Windows Vista and Windows 7

  • Doubled loading speed for PNG images. This improvment only kicks in if PNG files are 24bit or 32bit and Ignore PNG file Gamma is set. Otherwise PNG loading speed has been improved by about 30%.
  • Fixed issues with Windows 7.

  • Fixed a really nasty issue which crashed AnimPlayer when loading a sequence. Some graphic drivers under 64 bit Windows (nVidia and AMD/ATI) reported a default screen refresh frequency of 59 Hz but the display shows sometimes 60 Hz. Even this bug is fixed it is recommended to set your refresh rate manually to 60 Hz as it may fix issues in other applications as well.
